Meet the Author
Kristen Castellano is a preschool teacher who’s love of finding and reading Children’s literature inspired her to write her own. Exploring words and illustrations while asking insightful questions about stories read was her favorite preschool memory.
Kristen lives in Southern California with her husband and has two sons and a beautiful granddaughter. In her spare time Kristen enjoys quilting, crocheting, sewing and spending time with her family.
When she is not in her craft room Kristen likes to travel and explore the world with her husband.
Meet the Illustrator
Traci C. Adams is an award-winning muralist who is fulfilling her dream of illustrating children’s books. Her whimsical artwork is packed with rich details, reflects the joy in her heart, and seems to come to life, whether on the wall or on the pages of a book.
Traci lives in Southern California with her husband and son, with whom she shares a love of travel and a thirst for adventure. When she’s not drawing or painting, she can be found on her paddle board.
How we met
In 2013, Traci asked me a simple question, “Can I teach an art lesson to your preschool class (her son was in my class)? My response was, “Yes! “- which started a professional working relationship and friendship that continues to this day.
In 2025, I asked Traci a simple question, “Will you illustrate my story and create a children’s book with me?” Her response was, “Yes!” … and that launched us on our BIGGEST adventure yet!
Magical memories can be found whenever the two of us are around.
